Kwinana Swimming Club was formed in 1964 and in 2024 will celebrate 60 years of being apart of the West Australian swimming community. Our club is currently based at the Kwinana Recquatic Centre and prides itself on being a ‘lighthouse’ Club, meaning our program is open to those 5 years of age through to Masters. Our club believes that by bettering ourselves, we will better the community in which we live.
In a nation whose love affair with the water has shaped our history and transforms the way we go about our day to day lives, our club knows only too well the role that aquatic sports has in developing wellness, inclusiveness and producing champions of life. As we search for ways to promote wellness, inclusion and respect, our club firmly believes swimming and aquatic sports is where the connection can be made. Kwinana Swimming Club seeks to not only shape the young but promote and provide opportunities for everyone in our community. It is our obligation to produce life-long swimmers. It is our obligation to develop the people who create our club and leave a legacy for those champions of tomorrow.
Kwinana Swimming Club will, through world-class initiatives, promote and provide opportunities for everyone in our community to participate in aquatic activities that produce champions of life.
